    Lobby Art Space at Euro-Suites Hotel is proud to announce an exhibition From Scratch: The Paintings of Kim McAninch.

    The work will be on display from July 4th through August 31st with an opening reception Friday, August 4th from 6-8pm. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres will be provided and drink specials will be be offered.

    Gina, now on display in the "Da Burgh" Juried PSA exhibit, was notified of acceptance into the Georgia Watercolor Society Member Show to be held at the Quinlan Visual Arts Center in Gainesville, GA from Aug. 17-Oct. 7.  She will also be in two Wheeling Exhibits; one, a juried  competitive Regional called "Crosscurrents", which accepted ALL three entries, from July 6-Aug. 18 at the STIFEL fine arts center on National Road, Wheeling; and a group exhibit, "Artists Who Teach" to be held Aug. 4-29 at the co-op, ARTWORKS AROUND TOWN in downtown Wheeling.

    Lisa Bergant Koi's painting, Departure(hot orange), was one of 34 selected out of 465 artworks submitted to the St. Tammany Art Association's "52nd Annual National Juried Artists' Exhibition: The Summer Show" in Covington, Lousiana. 

    Juror William Fagaly, the Curator Emeritus for the New Orleans Museum of Art and the museum's former Francoise Billion Richardson Curator of African Art (retired), stated, "From my conscientious and careful deliberations, the resulting show is a grouping of works I found most compelling, the most accomplished, the most original and the best crafted.  I hope the exhibition gives its viewers as much pleasure as it has me."  She is honored to be included in this group.     Works by Judith Musser, Judith Gentile, and Gina  Judy opened on June 25 at EASTSIDE GALLERY and are able to be viewed online after the opening  www.eastside-gallery.com.   Gina will be featuring fourteen portrait and figurative paintings in both watercolor, mixed media, and pastel.

    Gina Judy had a painting "Sunlit Exposure from the 'Sure' Line", recently exhibited in the PWS member show, also exhibited at Princeton, WV as part of the "Aqueous '17" National Watercolor Show sponsored by the West Virginia Watercolor Society.  The show is also able to be viewed online.

    Butler Art Center is hosting the exhibit "Art of the Drink" celebrating all things spirited. This exhibit coincides with National Clay Week and will also have a closing reception featuring local Butler craft breweries on November 10. This is a dual exhibit with two separate exhibitions- a 2 Dimensional show "Beer Label Inspired Art" for all 2D media and a "Vessel Exhibit" dedicated to the storage, serving and drinking of beverages. Accepted media for this exhibit: clay, glass, metal and wood.  

    Application deadline is August 25.

    Wess made it in to the 50th PA Art of the State again with his "Dancing Man" collage. This makes five entries out of six attempts. There were 2,200 entries and only 131 accepted. I'm feeling good.

    Karen Larson's painting BYE BYE BEES was accepted in the Art of the State exhibition in Harrisburgh at the State Museum. The exhibition runs from June 11 through September 10, 2017.
